15 tourist places in the United States you should visit

A selection of the best places in the United States that you must visit at least once in your life. If you plan to travel to the United States, don’t miss this compilation of tourist attractions in the United States.

The best places to visit in the US

This is a list of the essential places that, in my opinion, you MUST visit if you go to the United States. I made the list based on the places I visited on my last trip to the United States and there is important information about each place.

Skywalk in the Grand Canyon, Arizona

The Grand Canyon is huge, but it’s best when you see it standing on a platform of clear glass. I was recently, you can go by car to the entrance of the complex but then you have to go yes or yes in the tourist bus of the company that operates the park (it is private), it costs US $ 50 dollars to go there and the US $ 25 dollars to get on the glass bridge.

It’s about 200km from Las Vegas, it’s worth it.

Times Square in New York

It is the center of New York, and the feeling you get when you are there is that you are in the center of the world. Lots of huge LED screens and giant buildings.

Ocean Drive in South Beach, Miami

It is the most famous street in Miami and the one that sums up the spirit of the city. It is the place where you will find the most eccentricities: rare cars, people trying to show all the money they have, Ferraris and corvettes, etc. I recently made a Miami guide with everything you need to know if you plan to go.

Venice Beach, Los Angeles

It is the best-known beach in the United States. And Miami? Not even his heels because Baywatch was filmed on this beach. It has a boulevard of several kilometers with the most eccentric characters that can be found in the entire city.

Los Angeles Observatory

It is a classic and it is worth visiting, you can see the whole city and witnessing a sunset there is one of the best things to do in Los Angeles.

Niagara Falls, New York

These falls are on the border between the US and Canada. The best time to go is in winter because there are not many people, there is snow and they do not charge you entry.

Golden Gate, San Francisco

The famous San Francisco bridge, there is not much to say about this bridge that is not already known, it is known worldwide and the obligatory photo.

The Brooklyn Bridge, New York

This bridge connects Brooklyn with Manhattan, it can be crossed on foot at any time of the day and both day and night is incredible. Tourists go at sunset to watch the sun go down illuminating the Statue of Liberty and the island of Manhattan alongside.

Also, the view that there is once you cross the bridge (on the Brooklyn side) leaves you speechless, it looks like something out of a movie (and it really is what you see in all movies)

Disneyworld in Orlando

You have to go at least once in your life, it’s in Orlando and millions of tourists go every year. No matter which park you go to, Disney is one of the most visited places in the United States, many go there just to go to Disney.

Universal Studios in Orlando

It doesn’t matter which one you go to (there are two, one in Orlando and one in Los Angeles). I went to both, in Los Angeles, there is a tour of the movie studios and in Orlando, there are more games.

I highly recommend it, even more than Disney, it has better games and maybe it’s more for adults. You can’t leave the United States without going to Universal.

Coney Island, Brooklyn

What memories! I went recently and it blew me away. It is where New Yorkers go when they want to go to the beach, there is a large wooden boardwalk to walk, beaches for all audiences and best of all … an eighties amusement park where many movies have been filmed.

When you enter the park you will hear music from the eighties playing, wooden roller coasters (there are also new ones), and machines like “Zoltar” that tells you the future when you put a coin (like in the movie “I would like to be big” or ” Big “in English, with Tom Hanks). There are two ways to enter the amusement park, with a bracelet where one pays a fixed price (the most expensive costs the US $ 70 and lasts 4 hours), and with a card buying credit, each game costs a certain amount of credits.

Las Vegas Strip

It doesn’t take much explanation … the Las Vegas Strip is the center where the best casinos and famous monuments that imitate other countries are: the Eiffel Tower (it costs US $ 14 to go up), the hotel “New York, New York “Where is the Statue of Liberty and a roller coaster that runs through the hotel (it costs US $ 14 to ride that roller coaster once or US $ 24 for unlimited rides all day).

It is a place full of lights and shows outside the hotels. The night never ends and people are seen drinking alcohol throughout the day.

Key West, Miami

A paradise 3 hours from Miami, it is the closest point to Cuba, in fact in Key West Cuba is closer than Downtown Miami itself. It takes about 3 hours to get there and you cross the 7-mile bridge. You have to cross several keys to get there and all are worth seeing and photographing.

Washington Monument in Washington DC

The truth is that I put this one but everything in Washington DC is worth it, there is the White House, the capitol, etc. If you go to New York you can take a one or two day tour where you also pass through Philadelphia, the land of Rocky where the famous steps from the movie are.

Washington DC has a lot of historical value and I recommend exploring it all.

Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles

It’s the walk of fame where all the stars are on the ground (except for Mohammed Ali on the wall of the Kodak theater, he didn’t want anyone to step on his name). It is a street where the most famous theaters are, where, for example, the Oscars are held.

Down that street is the Hard Rock Café in Los Angeles and the best nightclubs.
